What is the Coffee Pocket made from?

The Coffee Pocket is made from 100% Australian organic jersey cotton, and the frame is made from stainless steel.

Why are these the chosen materials?

Jersey cotton is a woven cotton fabric, it is undyed and 100% pure Australian organic cotton. Stainless steel is a strong, durable and rust resistant metal. It withstands the weight of the coffee and does not rust when wet.

How long will The Coffee Pocket last?

The Coffee Pocket can essentially last forever. The frame is extremely durable and will never rust therefore the frame can remain with you forever. The pocket itself will have some wear and tear after excessive use. The pocket will need replacing after 8-12 months of everyday use. After washes the coffee can still stain the material, over time with excessive use it might alter the taste of the coffee. The Replacement Pocket can be purchased and your Coffee Pocket will be as good as new.

How do I care for my pocket?

The pocket can simply be rinsed with water after the grounds are disposed of. Dish soap or soap used to clean your veggies can be used with a sponge to thoroughly clean your pocket. For a much deeper clean, unhook the metal frame and slide the fabric off. Put the pocket into a gentle cycle in the washing machine. Air drying, no tumble drying. The cotton will stain gradually with each use. This does not change the flavour of the coffee. However after excessive use (8-12 months of using it every day) it may slightly alter the flavour, at this stage it is ideal to purchase a Replacement Pocket.

Can I use this with any type of coffee?

The Coffee Pocket is intended to be used with ground coffee beans. It works best with medium-course ground coffee beans but any ground can work. Instant coffee will not work in the pocket.

Can I use my pocket for tea?

The Coffee Pocket works for loose leaf tea. The tea can be added into the pocket and boiling water can be poured over in the same way you would with the coffee grounds. Either remove The Coffee Pocket right away for a weak brew, or sit it in the cup for a stronger brew.

Do you offer refunds/ exchanges?

We can offer a full refund of our products within 30 days of purchase. The product cannot be refunded if it has been used. If your product is faulty we can offer an exchange if it hasn’t been used. Shipping will not be covered. Please contact us if you would like to return or exchange your product.

What are the shipping fees?

Shipping around Australia is a flat rate of $8.95. If you live in a hard to reach area and the shipping fee is significantly higher you may receive an email asking to cover the remainder.

Do you ship internationally?

The Coffee Pocket is only shipping within Australia for now. If you are not located in Australia and would like to purchase The Coffee Pocket please contact us and we can arrange shipping at your cost.

Can I purchase The Coffee Pocket from a market or store?
